Paranoia Star
08:11
|
|
||
The wind is not blowing
in the absence of light,
eyes above,
motionless, engrossed.
In this vertical horizon,
recurring edge of impossible dreams,
we speak in silent gestures.
Isn't it dangerous?
(Isn't it?)
We covered this place in nothing
but fear,
abandoned everything
and turned to you.
Paranoia star,
ugly star,
a convoluted void
in this wounded sky.
Hands and trembling faces
will never reach the truth,
the only glimpse they have
is a silent monolith.
In this vertical horizon,
recurring edge of impossible dreams,
we stay quiet and meaningless.
Isn't it dangerous?
(Isn't it?)
We filled this place
with all that we reject,
eclipsed by our darkness,
we turned to you.
Paranoia star,
empty star.
To a dreadful night,
this ominous dawn.
"Isn’t this dangerous?
Talk to me!
Our transmission begins now.
I feel hot.
I can see a flame.
Am I going to crash?
Yes.
I feel hot,
I will re-enter…"

Daybreak
05:42

The break of dawn,
the burning of the night
Spectre of Light,
you are a funeral rite,
a funeral lie
descending.
Soaring through wider zones,
with memories of old revolts.
Rank by rank
of solid walls,
of weaker beings
and early doors.
Burdening the past
with renewed confusion.
Leaning to the clouds,
spectre of revulsion,
spectre of light
descending.
The break of dawn is fighting,
against the darkened foe.
Rank by rank
of altered zones,
and through every crack
and eager bone.
The break of dawn keeps marching
but it never brings relief,
it never brings solace,
It only brings disease...
But it never brings the sun.
The break of dawn keeps marching
but it never brings comfort,
it never brings solace,
only disbelief...
But it never brings the sun.

The Abandonment
06:04
|
|
||
Forced to disappear
in a frightening sight,
astronomical force
haunting the night.
Celestial light
within a dark dominion.
For a perpetual moment
the morning sphere desists.
To darken,
in hateful abandon we stand.
To fear,
we stay in hollow grounds.
A night we dare not meet in dreams.
We looked and sank,
at the heart of heaven,
a dark planet kingdom
hovering through the stars,
We try and fail,
fearsome but frail,
(but) sunlight is not subversion
and knowledge means death
(and) to darken,
in hateful abandon we stand.
To fear,
we stay in hollow grounds.
A night we dare not meet in dreams,
a night we dare not see in dreams.

Collapse
09:20
|
|
||
Emptiness
within these pounding walls,
within the rusted core.
A grey view
is the city's heritage,
a neverending stage
of artificial life
and cold machines.
(We've been) Left behind
in secluded corners,
in the alleys of disdain.
So it isn't true,
everything that stands,
all the hands
that built in awe
will collapse.
And all the monuments
of old resolve,
everything will fall.
A painful end
beneath the burning skies,
within the heart of dark.
Abandoned and ruled
by deterministic laws,
in this electric empire
of artificial light
and loneliness.
An endless labyrinth
made of broken concrete,
of shattered dreams
and falling tears.
So it isn't true
everything that stands
all the hands
that built in awe,
will collapse.
And all the monuments
of old resolve,
everything will fall.
The passage of time
will soon devour all,
only ashes will remain
because everything will fall.
